Job Description

Barrick Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is inviting applications from qualified and motivated graduates for the position of Graduate Supply Chain in the Supply Chain Department. The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Superintendent and join Barrick’s structured Graduate Development Program, designed to provide practical exposure, technical development, leadership skills and professional growth within a world-class mining environment.

This is a 12-month graduate opportunity suitable for recent graduates who are interested in building a career in supply chain, logistics, warehousing and mining operations. Candidates will gain hands-on experience, work on real operational projects and receive mentorship and coaching from experienced industry professionals while developing their skills in a safety-focused and high-performing organisation.

About the Graduate Supply Chain Programme

The Graduate Supply Chain will be based at Bulyanhulu Gold Mine in the Supply Chain Department. The position forms part of Barrick Africa Middle East’s Graduate Development Program, which aims to accelerate the technical expertise, leadership capabilities and career development of young professionals entering the mining industry.

The programme provides graduates with opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to different operational areas and contribute to projects focused on operational excellence, safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

The Graduate Supply Chain will be expected to:

  • Participate in Barrick’s structured 12-month Graduate Development Program.

  • Gain hands-on experience within Bulyanhulu’s mining operations.

  • Participate in rotational exposure across relevant departments to broaden technical and operational knowledge.

  • Support supply chain, warehouse and related operational activities under the guidance of experienced professionals.

  • Participate in real-world projects designed to improve operational efficiency, safety and sustainability.

  • Apply academic knowledge to practical supply chain and mining-related challenges.

  • Develop technical expertise through structured workplace learning.

  • Participate in technical workshops, leadership training and other professional development activities.

Qualifications and Requirements
