Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a qualified Central Control Room (CCR) Operator to monitor and control various sections of the cement production line from the Central Control Room. The role focuses on ensuring smooth plant operations, production efficiency, safety compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor production line operations from the Central Control Room
• Ensure precision and compliance with cement production standards
• Provide operational guidance to patrollers and plant operators
• Monitor plant process lines to ensure stable equipment operation and employee safety
• Record and report process data and operational activities
• Support smooth operation of crushers, raw mills, kilns, and cement mills
• Identify equipment failures, potential risks, and operational issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production problems to minimize downtime
• Review plant automation systems and recommend improvements
• Prepare detailed operational reports
• Supervise casual staff to ensure conveyor belts remain clean and operational
• Ensure clinker and cement production targets are achieved during assigned shifts
• Perform other duties assigned by the section Head or HOD

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Processing Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of two years relevant working experience
• Good communication skills in English and Swahili
• Knowledge of cement production processes and quality control
• Understanding of crushing operations and plant equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and relationship management abilities
• Good supervisory skills
• Strong attention to detail
