Organization: Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the position of Instructor II – Electrical. The successful candidate will conduct training, supervise practical sessions, and support instructional development in electrical and electromechanical engineering fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct short courses and seminars in areas of specialization and instructional methods
• Prepare course and lesson plans for specialized subjects
• Supervise students during practical training
• Follow up and submit post-training evaluation reports for trainees
• Plan and organize traffic programmes
• Conduct courses and seminars for senior staff of the corporation
• Collect and analyze information and data related to the field of specialization
• Audit training objectives and course content and recommend training equipment and materials
• Evaluate effectiveness of instructors and prepare reports to the Principal
• Conduct research and consultations related to instructional and training needs within and outside the corporation
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (NTA Level 8 or equivalent) in:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electromechanical Engineering
  • Or equivalent qualification in a related field from a recognized institution

• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• Must be eligible for registration as a technical teacher
• Must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer
