Full Job Description
Location: Mtwara Plant, Tanzania

Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a qualified Administrative Officer to support the implementation of approved HAM/Admin policies and programmes for efficient management of administrative activities, facilities, fleet operations, and office resources at the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage administrative procedures and systems
- Support maintenance and management of office and residential buildings
- Conduct regular facility inspections and monitor contractor SLAs
- Assist in implementing fleet management policies and operations
- Supervise official and pool vehicles to ensure optimal functionality
- Coordinate service contracts including transport, rent, cleaning, and maintenance
- Monitor office supplies inventory and procurement activities
- Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of facilities
- Manage administrative budgets and expenditure
- Coordinate meetings, office events, and official visits
- Prepare periodic administrative reports for management review
- Organize airport pick-up and drop-off for expatriates
- Escalate administrative issues for timely resolution
- Perform other assigned administrative duties
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum of five years’ experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in administration or related roles
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning, organizing, and time management abilities
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of office administration procedures and systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different people
