Full Job Description
We are looking to hire a Geotechnical Engineer to plan and supervise geotechnical investigations, interpret soil reports, and advise on foundation designs for transport infrastructure projects in Dodoma and other locations within Tanzania and Eastern Africa.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise geotechnical investigations (boreholes, SPT)
- Interpret soil reports
- Advise on foundation designs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Soil Mechanics
- Registered Professional Engineer (ERB) with a valid practicing license
- Minimum 10 years in geotechnical investigation for transport infrastructure
- Experience on at least 2 similar projects in the last 7 years.
