National Insurance Corporation (NIC) is inviting dynamic, proactive, motivated and suitably qualified Tanzanian graduates to join its Volunteer Programme. The programme aims to provide young volunteers with practical skills, professional exposure and valuable work experience while allowing them to develop their careers in a professional insurance environment.
NIC has announced two volunteer positions for Accounts Officer II. The opportunity is suitable for graduates with academic qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce or business administration with an accounting or finance specialization.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting or Finance.

Equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

Intermediate Certificate (Module D) offered by NBAA.
General Conditions
Applicants must meet the following conditions:

Must be a Tanzanian citizen.

Must be aged between 18 and 35 years.

Must never have been employed in any public institution since graduating from their studies.

Must not have been convicted by a court of law for criminal offences or disciplinary misconduct.

Must have good conduct and behaviour acceptable to the community.

The volunteer period shall not exceed 12 months and may be renewed for a maximum of two additional periods.
