Marketing Officer
Stan Safaris is seeking a dedicated, creative, and results-driven Marketing Officer to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that enhance the visibility, desirability, and commercial performance of Stan Safari, Tours, and Kinga Lodges. The role is responsible for driving brand awareness, increasing bookings, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting business growth across local and international markets.
The successful candidate will manage marketing campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, brand communications, partnerships, and market development activities. Working closely with operations and reservations teams, the Marketing Officer will ensure that marketing efforts align with business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative marketing and sales strategies to increase bookings, revenue, and brand awareness.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and customer segments locally and internationally.
- Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, destination management companies (DMCs), and corporate clients.
- Drive business growth through strategic partnerships and networking opportunities.
- Manage and enhance the company’s digital presence across social media platforms and online channels.
- Oversee website updates, Google Business Profile management, and TripAdvisor engagement activities.
- Develop content calendars and coordinate the creation of marketing materials.
- Work closely with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to produce engaging promotional content.
- Represent the company at trade shows, tourism expos, roadshows, networking events, and industry forums.
- Promote the company’s lodges, safari packages, tours, and related services to target audiences.
- Collaborate with reservations and operations teams to ensure marketing messages align with service delivery.
- Monitor tourism industry trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Conduct market research and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare monthly marketing and sales performance reports, including KPI analysis and campaign evaluations.
- Ensure all branding and promotional materials comply with company standards and brand guidelines.
- Support the development of new marketing initiatives to strengthen market positioning and competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of proven marketing experience within safari operations, tourism, hospitality, or related industries.
- Experience working within Tanzania’s tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and online customer engagement.
- Experience in social media management and content development.
- Understanding of brand management and marketing communications.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance and market trends.
- Experience coordinating promotional campaigns and business development initiatives.
