Full Job Description
MSI Tanzania is looking for a qualified professional to support efficient logistics operations, including warehouse, inventory, and asset management in compliance with MSI policies and donor regulations.
The successful candidate will manage warehouse operations, inventory control, asset tracking, documentation, compliance, and distribution of supplies and medicines while ensuring safety and accountability across logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receiving, storage, and issuing of goods
- Maintain proper warehouse storage conditions
- Conduct stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Report damaged, obsolete, or near-expiry stock
- Ensure warehouse registration compliance
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders
- Maintain inventory records and documentation
- Upload invoices into the TRADOGRAM procurement system
- Support distribution of supplies and medicines
- Maintain audit trails and warehouse documentation
- Ensure warehouse safety and compliance standards
- Report risks, incidents, and safety concerns
- Maintain warehouse equipment
- Register, tag, and track organizational assets
- Update the Asset Management System
- Conduct physical asset verification
- Monitor asset movement and utilization
- Identify obsolete or damaged assets
- Support asset disposal processes including auction and destruction
- Update records after disposal activities
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management
- Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience using asset management systems
- Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and stock management systems
- Knowledge of donor regulations including FCDO and USAID
- Pharmacy or logistics knowledge is an added advantage
- Transport and security training preferred
- PSPTB registration or CPSP certification required
