Organization: Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the position of Yard Master II. The successful candidates will supervise marshalling yard operations, wagon movement, and cargo handling activities.

Position: Yard Master II
Number of Positions: 3
Application Period: 19 May 2026 – 1 June 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Be in charge of designated sections of the marshalling yard
• Supervise breaking up and marshalling of trains
• Coordinate placement and removal of wagons
• Supervise loading and unloading of delivery vehicles manually or using forklift trucks
• Supervise sorting and grading of stock
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Yard Foremen Certificate awarded by TIRTEC
• Or NTA Level 4 in Railway Transportation or equivalent qualification
