The university is currently inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates to fill three positions for Assistant Lecturer – Accounting and Finance based in Iringa, Tanzania. This opportunity is suitable for academic professionals with strong knowledge in accounting and finance who are passionate about teaching, research, and supporting higher education development.

The Assistant Lecturer – Accounting and Finance will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, assisting in academic and applied research activities, and participating in consultancy and community outreach programs. The role requires strong academic competence, analytical abilities, and the ability to contribute to institutional growth through teaching, publications, and professional engagement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching undergraduate students effectively in Accounting and Finance courses
  • Assisting in academic and applied research activities
  • Participating in consultancy and professional engagement initiatives

  • Preparing teaching materials, assignments, and assessments
  • Supporting student mentoring and academic guidance activities
