Jordan University College (JUCo)

Jordan University College (JUCo), located in Kola, Morogoro, is a premier institution of higher learning in Tanzania with deep roots in religious education and academic excellence. Originating in 1993 as the Salvatorian Major Seminary, JUCo was established to provide philosophical and theological education to religious aspirants and clergy. Over time, it evolved into a fully-fledged higher education institution and became a constituent college of St. Augustine University of Tanzania in 2010. JUCo offers 44 academic programs ranging from NTA Level 4 certificates to doctoral studies. These programs span religious and secular disciplines and are designed to respond to the social, cultural, and professional needs of Tanzania and beyond. The institution is affiliated with the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome and integrates African studies and philosophical subjects in all its BA programs.With a diverse academic staff and student body from various religious congregations and backgrounds, JUCo serves as a hub for intellectual growth, faith-based education, and leadership formation. It remains committed to preparing self-confident African scholars and professionals equipped to transform their societies.
