Full Job Description
Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the position of Office Management Secretary II. The successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to senior officers and assist in office communication and records management activities.

Application Period: 19 May 2026 – 1 June 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Type confidential correspondence, letters, manuscripts, reports, and proceedings
- Arrange travel and hotel bookings
- Check availability of stationery and office equipment for the department
- Provide secretarial services to senior officers
- Maintain records of activities and appointments
- Monitor movement of incoming and outgoing files
- Attend and assist visitors
- Receive and direct telephone calls, emails, and fax messages
- Organize and maintain appointment diaries
- Handle correspondence and official letters
- Organize documents and computer-based public relations and communication activities
Qualifications:
- Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in:
- Secretarial Studies
- Secretarial Services
- Or equivalent qualification from Public Service College or another recognized institution
- Shorthand typing speed of 100 words per minute in both Kiswahili and English
- Certificate in computer applications including:
- Windows
- Microsoft Office
- Internet
- Publisher
- Ability to use modern office equipment
