Kenya Railways has announced new employment opportunities for qualified and experienced Kenyan professionals. The Corporation is recruiting for two managerial positions to support the development of a safe, reliable, and sustainable railway network across Kenya.

As a Government-Owned Enterprise, Kenya Railways operates both the Meter Gauge Railway (MGR) and the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR). Successful candidates will join the organization on competitive employment terms while contributing to the continued growth of Kenya’s national rail transport system.

Available Positions

• Quality Assurance & Risk Coordination Manager (Ref: KRBR161)
• Signaling, Electrical & Communications Manager (Ref: KABR163)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities within the assigned technical department.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and risk management initiatives.
• Oversee signaling, electrical, and communication systems where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with railway operational standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare departmental reports and support strategic planning.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to improve service delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency across railway services.

Qualifications Required

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
• Relevant academic and professional qualifications for the position applied for.
• Experience in a related managerial or technical field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
