10 Internship Opportunities at MUHAS (Undergraduate Students)
Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is inviting applications from suitably qualified undergraduate students for its 2026 Long Holiday Internship Programme. The internship offers students an opportunity to gain practical work experience, strengthen professional skills, and contribute to academic and administrative activities across the University.
The programme will be coordinated by the Internationalization and Convocation Unit (ICU), with successful candidates being placed in various departments, schools, institutes, directorates, or administrative units based on institutional needs and available opportunities.
Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned department or unit, interns will:

Assist in planning and implementing departmental activities.

Support the preparation of meetings, workshops, reports, and official correspondence.

Help coordinate academic, institutional, and student-related programmes.
-
Assist with data collection, documentation, filing, and records management.
-
Support communication with internal and external stakeholders.
-
Help organize events, projects, and other departmental activities.

Perform additional duties assigned by the supervising department.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:

Good academic standing as a MUHAS undergraduate student.

Participation in extracurricular activities.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with effective time management.

Excellent attention to detail and sound judgement.

Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Fluency in both English and Swahili (written and spoken).

Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Internship Conditions
