Junior Technical Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to minimize operational risks.

• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production and operational processes.

• Document maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and operational challenges.

• Develop process improvements using engineering principles and appropriate software tools.

• Conduct material planning and coordinate with the procurement team for efficient resource allocation.

• Contribute to environmentally sustainable and safe engineering initiatives.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), or another STEM-related discipline.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• High commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvement.

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to different engineering, technical, and operational responsibilities.

• Fluency in both English and Swahili.
