Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Identify, record, and follow up on hazards, near misses, incidents, and accidents.
• Lead or support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Conduct HSSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments at facilities and field operations.
• Work closely with operational teams to identify and mitigate health, safety, security, and environmental risks.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and on-the-job guidance.
• Support supervisors and managers in integrating HSSE practices into daily operations.
• Track, analyze, and report HSSE performance indicators, including incidents, near misses, inspections, and training coverage.
• Prepare management reports with safety trends, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should possess:

• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in both English and Kiswahili, written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, hands-on, and independent approach to work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• The ability to work effectively in both processing facilities and field environments.
