The company is currently seeking energetic, customer-focused, and disciplined Waitress Trainees to join its hospitality team in Dar es Salaam on an internship basis. The successful candidates will support daily restaurant and customer service operations while gaining hands-on experience in food and beverage service within a professional working environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and present menu options professionally.
- Take customer orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service equipment.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in preparing dining areas before and after service hours.
- Support team members in ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Certificate in Hotel Management from a recognized institution.
- Completion of Form Four education.
- Credit Pass (Grade C or above) in both English and Swahili languages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity, commitment, and professionalism.
