The lodge features luxury accommodation, fine dining venues, wellness facilities, and unique wildlife experiences supported by a dedicated team committed to delivering memorable guest experiences.

The organization is currently inviting qualified candidates to apply for the position of Security Officer at Four Seasons Serengeti. The role is responsible for supporting the Safety and Loss Prevention Department in protecting guests, employees, company assets, and maintaining security standards throughout the lodge and surrounding operational areas.

The Security Officer will perform daily security patrols, monitor safety procedures, support emergency response activities, and ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular patrols of guest areas, staff areas, corridors, parking areas, pools, and hotel grounds
  • Preventing intrusion by unauthorized persons, animals, or other security threats
  • Escorting guests between the lobby and guest rooms when required
  • Controlling staff entrances and conducting baggage checks for staff and contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations during routine patrols
  • Checking the security of offices, storerooms, and restricted operational areas
  • Assisting with guest baggage delivery and collection services
  • Documenting incidents, security events, thefts, losses, and damages through reports and electronic logs
  • Managing lost and found procedures and returning recovered items to rightful owners
  • Participating in emergency response and evacuation procedures including fire safety operations
  • Monitoring and controlling the issuance of hotel master keys
  • Opening or repairing in-room safes when required
  • Receiving deliveries during non-standard operating hours and ensuring safe delivery to intended recipients
  • Providing emergency first aid assistance to guests and employees when necessary
  • Supporting staff housing access and conducting housing checks in coordination with Human Resources
  • Reporting unusual incidents or emergencies to senior management immediately
  • Acting as a liaison point for emergency service providers responding to the property
  • Supporting health and safety initiatives under the Four Seasons “Lead with Care” program
  • Assisting operational departments and performing other duties assigned by management

The ideal candidate should possess strong security awareness, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a luxury hospitality environment. Applicants are expected to demonstrate integrity, teamwork, emergency response capability, and excellent communication skills while maintaining high standards of guest service and operational safety.

Qualifications and Requirements include:

  • Ability to conduct professional security patrols and enforce security procedures effectively
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, emergency response procedures, and fire prevention practices
  • Good observation, incident reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide emergency first aid assistance when required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work professionally with guests, staff, supervisors, and external emergency services
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor and operational environments
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, discipline, and confidentiality at all times
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules and operational shifts as required
  • Ability to temporarily relocate or travel to Arusha Logistics Center when operationally required
