Braeburn International School in Dar es Salaam is seeking a qualified and passionate Primary Class Teacher to teach students under the National Curriculum of England. The school delivers Cambridge IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTEC programmes to learners aged 2 to 18 years within an international school environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum in line with the National Curriculum of England.
• Create a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment for young learners.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities that support effective learning.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and students.

Job Requirements

Education

• Relevant Degree in Education or related field.

Experience

• Teaching experience in a primary school setting.
• Experience working with primary-age learners in an international school environment will be an added advantage.
