Braeburn International School in Dar es Salaam is seeking a creative and passionate Music and Drama Teacher to teach students following the National Curriculum of England, Cambridge IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTEC programmes. The role involves developing students’ artistic talents through practical learning, performances, and creative activities across primary and secondary levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Music and Drama lessons for primary and secondary students.
• Organize, direct, and coordinate school performances, concerts, and drama productions.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on creative and artistic development.
• Develop students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills through practical activities.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and performance schedules.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular performing arts activities.
• Support students’ academic, social, and creative development.
• Participate in school events and professional development programs.

Job Requirements

Education

• Relevant Degree in Music, Drama, Performing Arts, or related field.

Experience

• Teaching experience in a school setting.
• Experience directing school performances, concerts, or drama productions.
