Lecturer in Anatomical Pathology (1 Position) at KCMC University offers an opportunity for qualified medical professionals to join the academic team within the School of Medicine. The selected candidate will work closely with the Department of Pathology, university management, and students to ensure effective learning and academic progress.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undergoing induction training in pedagogical skills where necessary
- Conducting lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and Master’s programmes
- Conducting formative and summative assessments for students
- Setting, invigilating, and marking tests and examinations
- Supervising undergraduate and Master’s students’ research projects
- Attending departmental examiners’ meetings
- Participating in curriculum development activities
- Preparing teaching manuals and academic compendia
- Participating in development and management of university projects
- Conducting research and publishing research findings
- Mentoring junior academic staff
- Carrying out community outreach services
- Undertaking consultancy assignments
- Attending and organizing workshops, conferences, and symposia
- Performing additional duties assigned by university authorities

- Master of Medicine (M. Med) in Anatomical Pathology with a minimum GPA of 4.0 or overall average grade of B+
