Analyst, Insights, People & Culture
Stanbic Bank Tanzania – Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Stanbic Bank Tanzania is seeking a skilled and analytical professional to join its People & Culture team as an Analyst, Insights, People & Culture. The successful candidate will play a critical role in generating workforce insights that support a positive employee experience, enhance employee engagement, and contribute to informed decision-making across the organization.
This role focuses on analyzing workforce data, identifying trends, conducting research, and delivering actionable insights that support the bank’s People & Culture strategy. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical, database management, and reporting skills who is passionate about leveraging data to drive organizational effectiveness and employee success in a rapidly evolving work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze workforce experience and employee engagement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and prepare workforce reports, dashboards, and analytical insights for management decision-making.
- Conduct workforce trends research using internal and external data sources.
- Support the implementation and execution of People & Culture strategies and initiatives.
- Collect, manage, validate, and maintain workforce data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Integrate workforce data from various sources to provide meaningful business insights.
- Manage databases and information systems related to People & Culture functions.
- Support the development and implementation of data management processes and standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within People & Culture operations.
- Utilize technology solutions to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support business and People & Culture leaders.
- Monitor workforce metrics and key performance indicators.
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic workforce planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workforce reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and data governance requirements.
- Support digital transformation initiatives within the People & Culture function.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee information and workforce data.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Management, Human Resources, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant professional experience within a similar role.
- Experience in workforce analytics, people data management, or human resources reporting.
- Strong knowledge of data administration and database management principles.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL and MySQL database technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with information systems and workforce databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to examine information critically and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent reporting, presentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of People & Culture policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience in process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Employment is offered on a contract basis.
