The ICT Officer Grade II (Standards and Compliance) position at Mamlaka ya Serikali Mtandao (eGA), known in English as the e-Government Authority, is a professional ICT role responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of e-Government standards and compliance frameworks within public institutions. The position focuses on ensuring that government ICT systems, infrastructure, and services meet established standards, technical specifications, and best practices for effective digital governance.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Planning, designing, developing, and implementing e-Government standards and guidelines
- Monitoring compliance with e-Government standards and guidelines across systems and services
- Coordinating preparation of hardware and software specifications for e-Government implementation
- Studying and evaluating global trends and best practices in e-Government standards and compliance
- Planning and conducting compliance audits and preparing audit reports
- Raising awareness among users regarding e-Government standards and guidelines
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Remuneration is according to the eGA Scheme of Service.
