The Zanzibar Collection is seeking an experienced hospitality professional for the position of Assistant F&B Manager in Zanzibar. The successful candidate will support the F&B Manager in overseeing operations across restaurants, bars, room service, and events. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Food & Beverage team.

• Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations.

  

• Maintain high guest service and hospitality standards.

• Manage cost control, inventory, and stores.

  

• Supervise restaurants, bars, room service, and events.

• Ensure efficient operational procedures.

  

• Work closely with the Hotel Manager on Food & Beverage operations.

• Maintain a refined and consistent guest experience.

• Support the F&B Manager in achieving operational and service objectives.

Qualifications Required

• Proven Food & Beverage operations experience in a four- or five-star property.

• Strong knowledge of cost control, inventory, and stores management.

• Excellent guest-facing service and hospitality standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.

• Experience working with a mixed and multicultural team.

• Ability to remain calm, organised, and effective under pressure.

• Previous international hospitality experience is essential.

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.

• Fluent and polished English communication skills.
