ICT Officer II – 1 Volunteer Position

National Insurance Corporation (NIC) is inviting applications from dynamic, proactive and suitably qualified Tanzanian graduates to join its Volunteer Programme. The programme aims to provide young volunteers with practical skills, professional exposure and valuable work experience while contributing to the operations of the Corporation.

NIC has announced one volunteer position for ICT Officer II. The successful candidate should have relevant academic qualifications in information technology, computer science, software engineering or another related ICT discipline from a recognized institution.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields:

General Conditions

Applicants must meet the following general conditions:

• Must be a Tanzanian citizen.

• Must be aged between 18 and 35 years.

• Must never have been employed in any public institution since graduating from their studies.

• Must not have been convicted by a court of law for criminal offences or disciplinary misconduct.

• Must have good conduct and behaviour acceptable to the community.

• The volunteer period shall not exceed 12 months and may be renewed for a maximum of two additional periods.
