The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced 3 employment opportunities for qualified Tanzanians to work as Accounts Officer II within the Judiciary of Tanzania. This position is suitable for accounting and finance professionals who meet the required academic or professional qualifications.

The successful candidates will support financial management activities within the Judiciary, including preparation of financial statements and revenue reports, bank reconciliations, processing payment documents and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements.

• Preparing revenue reports.

  

• Preparing bank reconciliation statements.

• Assisting with payroll-related reports.

  

• Processing payment documents.

• Processing receipt documents.

  

• Maintaining financial records and registers.

• Ensuring accounting records are properly maintained.

• Performing other accounting duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications Required

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• Intermediate Certificate Module D issued by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) or an equivalent qualification recognised by NBAA.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Arts with Accounting as a major.

• Advanced Diploma in Accounting from a recognised institution.

General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be Tanzanian citizens.

• Be between 18 and 45 years of age.

• Meet the specific academic and professional requirements for Accounts Officer II.

• Provide certified copies of relevant academic and professional certificates.

• Provide a birth certificate.
