About the Role
The Senior Analyst: Margin Accounting is responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of accounting records and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS. The position plays an important role in managing intercompany and roaming transactions, month-end accounting, reconciliations, and margin assurance.
The role also works closely with Shared Services, Billing, Revenue Assurance, and other teams to resolve accounting issues, improve processes, and provide reliable financial information for business decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst: Margin Accounting will be responsible for:

Managing all intercompany and roaming accounts.

Ensuring relevant transactions are accounted for completely, accurately, and on time.

Managing the execution of activities migrated to the Shared Services team within agreed service-level agreements.

Supporting the team in identifying and resolving operational, accounting, process, and control issues.

Preparing month-end journals.

Preparing and reviewing balance-sheet reconciliations.

Ensuring end-to-end transaction correctness by applying appropriate processes and tools to capture all revenues and costs incurred.

Working with Billing and Revenue Assurance teams to deliver Margin Assurance dashboards.

Providing timely and actionable insights to the business through margin-related reporting.

Following the appropriate escalation processes when accounting or operational issues arise.

Applying a non-surprise management approach by ensuring relevant issues are communicated promptly.

Driving and supporting the business excellence and digital transformation roadmap.

Project-managing automation initiatives within the approved project pipeline.

Supporting local market Get Well, transformation, and roadmap plans.

Maximising the capabilities of S4HANA in accounting and reporting processes.

Identifying opportunities to improve intercompany and roaming accounting processes.

Supporting continuous improvement of accounting controls, systems, and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have:

A Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.

CPA qualification.

Strong data-analysis skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of Receivables and General Ledger modules.

Good knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
