Sales Officer at Goodwill Ceramic Limited is a full-time position based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The role focuses on promoting ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, and related building materials products while building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients. The successful candidate will support business growth by identifying sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, conducting market analysis, and achieving sales targets.

The position requires close interaction with clients in the building materials sector, including responding to inquiries, providing product information, negotiating business terms, and supporting promotional activities. The role also involves business travel, participation in trade exhibitions, and collaboration with management teams to strengthen market presence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with international clients
  • Promoting ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, and related products
  • Providing quotations, product samples, and technical product information
  • Responding to customer inquiries and handling sales negotiations
  • Negotiating pricing and commercial terms with clients
  • Closing sales opportunities and supporting business growth
  • Gathering market intelligence and monitoring competitor activities
  • Reporting customer feedback and market trends to management
  • Participating in online promotions, exhibitions, and client meetings
  • Achieving individual and team sales performance targets

Requirements include:

  • Proven sales experience in building materials, ceramics, construction, or home improvement industries is preferred
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good relationship-building and customer management abilities
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for long-term business assignments
