IT & Data Support Officer at CCBRT (Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania)

CCBRT is looking for a dynamic IT & Data Support Officer to support its Moshi operations while working closely with the main CCBRT ICT team. The role focuses on providing technical IT support, maintaining ICT infrastructure, supporting data management activities, and ensuring smooth digital operations within the healthcare environment.

The selected candidate will provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network systems, while also supporting organizational data management, reporting, and monitoring activities. The role also involves ICT asset management, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting digitalization initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency.

Main responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for ICT systems and infrastructure
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Performing basic system administration tasks
• Supporting database management and data organization
• Conducting routine data quality checks
• Ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity
• Preparing reports for management and donors
• Supporting monitoring and evaluation activities
• Managing ICT and facility asset inventories
• Coordinating preventive maintenance of ICT systems and equipment
• Supporting digital transformation and service improvement initiatives
• Working closely with the CCBRT Head Office ICT team on complex technical issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
• Professional ICT certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Network+ are an added advantage
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in IT support and data management
• Experience in healthcare, NGO, or development sectors is preferred
• Experience in ICT asset or inventory management is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and proactive working attitude
• Results-oriented and able to work independently
