The Digital Transformation Officer will support the Digital Transformation Manager in driving innovation and improving digital delivery channels within BRAC Tanzania Finance Limited (BTFL). The role focuses on supporting the implementation of digital solutions, improving customer experience, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring effective utilization of technology-driven financial services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the rollout and expansion of digital solutions and initiatives across BTFL operations
- Analyzing and reconciling daily transactions to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of exceptions
- Handling incoming and outgoing staff telephone correspondence professionally and accurately
- Driving the adoption and utilization of digital products and solutions introduced by BTFL
- Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are maintained when addressing digital-related challenges
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and microfinance regulations
- Supporting the development and implementation of digital strategies to address field operational challenges
- Providing direct support to field staff on digital-related issues and system usage
- Conducting digital training sessions for field staff to improve system adoption and operational efficiency
- Surveying, analyzing, and reporting digital data to support data-driven decision making
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical, analytical, and communication skills with practical experience in digital finance and technology-related projects. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Project Planning and Management, Sales and Marketing, or a related field. Professional certification in relevant disciplines will be considered an added advantage.
Qualifications and Experience include:
- At least two years of relevant experience in digital finance, financial inclusion, product development, or technology for development
- Experience working with mobile network operators, fintech companies, financial institutions, or regulators is an added advantage
- Familiarity with financial institution operations and digital financial services
- Strong understanding of digital transformation and DFS strategy management
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable business solutions
- Experience in digital project management and preparation of functional specifications for digital tools
- Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and their impact on organizational performance and customer experience
