Braeburn Group of International Schools is seeking a qualified Grounds and Facilities Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance of the international school campus in Arusha. The role involves supervising in-house cleaners and gardeners, coordinating event setups, managing inventory, and ensuring the learning environment remains safe, hygienic, and well-maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead cleaners and gardeners to maintain high standards of cleanliness and campus appearance.
• Coordinate event setups and ensure facilities are prepared for school activities and special events.
• Oversee gardening and grounds maintenance activities across the campus.
• Manage inventory and storage of cleaning supplies and gardening tools.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies and equipment.
• Handle internal requests related to cleaning materials and gardening tools.
• Perform administrative and computer-related duties including reporting and communication.
• Ensure facilities remain safe, organized, and ready for daily operations.
• Support effective teamwork and service delivery within the facilities department.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

• Experience in grounds and facilities management.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Email, Microsoft Excel, and Google tools.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems effectively.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain active throughout the day and supervise outdoor work in different weather conditions.
