The company is currently seeking motivated and passionate Cook Trainees to join its hospitality team in Dar es Salaam on an internship basis. The successful candidates will assist in kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking activities while learning professional culinary standards and maintaining high levels of hygiene and food quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under supervision.
• Learn and follow recipes and standard cooking procedures.
• Ensure food quality meets company standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff in daily kitchen operations.
• Assist in proper food storage and stock handling procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Hotel Management from a recognized institution.
• Completion of Form Four education.
• Credit Pass (Grade C or above) in both English and Swahili languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High level of integrity, commitment, and professionalism.
