Mzumbe University is recruiting one Assistant Environment Health Officer II to support environmental health and sanitation services within the university community. The role focuses on maintaining health standards, environmental cleanliness, food safety, and promoting public health awareness across university premises.

The selected candidate will assist in environmental inspections, sanitation monitoring, fumigation activities, and health promotion initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Main responsibilities include:

• Assisting in inspection of environmental sanitation around the campus
• Inspecting sanitation standards of buildings and cafeterias
• Supporting planning and implementation of fumigation activities within university premises
• Promoting primary healthcare awareness within the university community
• Inspecting food served to students according to government standards
• Performing other duties assigned by supervisors

Requirements:
