ICT OFFICER II (Instructional Designer) at Mzumbe University (MU)

Mzumbe University is hiring two ICT Officer II (Instructional Designer) positions to support online learning and digital course development within the institution. The role focuses on assisting in the creation of e-learning materials, supporting Learning Management System (LMS) activities, and providing technical assistance to both faculty members and students.

The selected candidates will work closely with academic staff and instructional designers to support online course development, multimedia learning content creation, and digital learning delivery.

Main responsibilities include:

• Assisting in coordination with faculty staff on online course development
• Supporting instructional design training sessions
• Collecting course content for development of learning materials and modules
• Providing technical support to enrolled students
• Assisting Senior Instructional Designers in developing courses and modules within the LMS
• Performing other related duties assigned by university authorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in:

  • ICT with Mediated Content Development
  • ICT with Multimedia Technology and Animation
  • Or equivalent computer-related qualifications from a recognized institution
