The Assistant Commercial Officer II (Customer Services) position at Shirika la Reli Tanzania (TRC) is a customer-facing role within the railway transport sector, focused on providing accurate travel information, handling passenger inquiries, and promoting company services. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Informing passengers about expected train arrivals and departures
• Responding to customer complaints, queries, requests, and providing relevant information
• Promoting company products and services to passengers and potential customers
• Identifying customer needs and preferences to improve service delivery
• Providing product brochures and informational materials to customers
• Offering pricing and service delivery information to customers
• Suggesting solutions in cases of service malfunction or disruption
• Educating customers on available deals, promotions, and service updates
• Greeting customers warmly and identifying their issues or reasons for contact
• Assisting in selling railway products and services
• Providing safety education and guidance to customers
• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications required:

• Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Public Relations, Marketing, or Business Administration (Marketing and Public Relations specialization), or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Computer literacy is required

Remuneration is according to the TRCS 3 salary scale.
