Organization: Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit (MITU)
Position: Research Assistant Nurse/Clinician

The Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit (MITU) is inviting applications from motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Research Assistant Nurse/Clinician. The role involves supporting a clinical trial evaluating a single dose of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine in males.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide trial information to potential participants and answer participant questions
• Conduct physical examinations and sample collection according to SOPs
• Collect and record trial data accurately in source documents
• Ensure compliance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice principles
• Follow QA procedures and reporting requirements during trial activities

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Fully registered Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Officer (CO)
• Valid and up-to-date practicing license in Tanzania
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in hospitals or clinics
• Experience working in a research environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili
