Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to lead its wellness operations. The successful candidate will oversee the daily management of spa, fitness, and boutique retail operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, team development, revenue growth, and compliance with luxury hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Spa operations, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, wellness facilities, fitness facilities, and boutique retail operations.
  • Ensure all products and services meet Four Seasons luxury standards and guest expectations.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in compliance with local and international health regulations.
  • Manage Spa scheduling, reservations, and service flow through the Book4Time system.
  • Deliver exceptional and personalized guest experiences.
  • Address guest feedback, concerns, and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop unique wellness programs and offerings aligned with luxury hospitality and wellness market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat and VIP guests.
  • Ensure guest preferences and service personalization information are accurately maintained and utilized.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and develop Spa Therapists, Receptionists, and Spa Attendants.
  • Ensure adherence to service excellence standards and operational procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and staff training programs.
  • Foster a positive, motivated, and customer-focused team culture.
  • Ensure employees maintain professional grooming and service standards.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability of Spa and Boutique Retail operations.
  • Drive sales growth through upselling of spa treatments, wellness experiences, and retail products.
  • Manage inventory levels for spa products, retail merchandise, and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory usage and implement measures to minimize waste and losses.
  • Ensure all spa, fitness center, and boutique facilities are properly maintained and fully operational.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for guests using wellness and fitness facilities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote spa services, wellness packages, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to enhance business performance.
  • Ensure digital platforms, mobile applications, IPTV systems, and online content remain updated and accurate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in Spa Management or Hospitality Management, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Strong financial management and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness trends, and luxury service standards.
  • Proficiency in Book4Time Spa Management Software.
  • Strong Microsoft Office application skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong decision-making and operational management skills.
