The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer – Finance will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting academic and applied research, supervising students, and participating in consultancy and community engagement activities. Key Responsibilities include:

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students effectively in Finance and related subjects
• Conducting academic and applied research activities
• Undertaking consultancy and professional engagement activities
• Participating in community outreach and university development programs
• Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic and research work
• Preparing teaching materials, coursework, assessments, and academic reports
• Contributing to departmental research publications and academic projects
• Participating in academic meetings, seminars, workshops, and institutional activities
• Supporting curriculum development and academic quality improvement initiatives
• Mentoring students and junior academic staff where required

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in finance, university teaching capability, and research competence suitable for higher education institutions. Qualifications and Requirements include:

• PhD in Finance
• Master’s Degree in Finance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
• Consistent academic progression in the relevant field
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 at Bachelor’s Degree level
• Minimum GPA of 4.0 at Master’s Degree level
• University teaching experience will be an added advantage
• Research publications will be an added advantage
• Consultancy experience will be an added advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong student supervision and mentoring skills
• ICT competence and ability to use academic technologies effectively
• Leadership ability and professional integrity
• Ability to work collaboratively within academic teams
