The university is currently inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates to fill two positions for Assistant Lecturer – Economics and Finance based in Iringa, Tanzania. The Assistant Lecturer – Economics and Finance will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, supporting academic and applied research activities, and participating in consultancy and outreach programs. The role requires strong analytical abilities, quantitative competence, and commitment to academic excellence and student development.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Teaching undergraduate students effectively in Economics and Finance courses
- Assisting in academic and applied research activities
- Participating in consultancy and professional engagement activities
- Supporting community outreach and university development initiatives
- Preparing teaching materials, coursework, and academic assessments
- Supporting student mentoring and academic guidance activities
- Contributing to departmental research, publications, and academic projects
- Participating in academic meetings, workshops, seminars, and institutional activities
