National Housing Corporation (NHC) was reconstituted through Act No. 2 of 1990, to carry out the role of providing and facilitating the provision of housing and other buildings in Tanzania. This Act was amended through written laws (Misc. Amendment) Act No. 2 of 2005 to enable the corporation conduct its business on sound commercial principles.
