Pharmacy Council Tanzania Internship Intake June 2026
Pharmacy Council under the Ministry of Health has officially announced the June 2026 Internship Intake for pharmacy graduates. The internship program is mandatory for graduates seeking registration as pharmacists in Tanzania.

About the Internship Program
The internship training is intended for pharmacy graduates who have completed a degree program of not less than four (4) years.
Internship Duration
- 12 months uninterrupted training
Legal Requirement
The internship is conducted in accordance with:
- Section 17 (1) of the Pharmacy Act [Cap 311 R.E 2023]
- Regulation No. 5(1) of The Pharmacy (Registration, Enrolment and Enlisting of Persons) Regulations, G.N No. 332 of 2005
Additionally, successful completion of the internship is required before registration as a pharmacist.

- Certified copy of Secondary Education Examination Certificate
- Certified copy of Advanced Secondary Education Examination Certificate or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences Certificate
- Certified copy of Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree Certificate and full academic transcript
- Certified copy of Birth Certificate
- Recognition certificates from TCU and NECTA for applicants who studied abroad
- One passport size photograph with blue background
- NIDA identification card or NIDA number
