Citizenship
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens by birth.

- Not more than 25 years old for candidates with Form IV or Form VI education.

Health Condition
- Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
Conduct and Discipline
- Candidates must have good behavior and discipline.
- Applicants must not have been convicted of any criminal offense or imprisoned.

Previous Service
