National Insurance Corporation (NIC) is inviting applications from dynamic, proactive, motivated and suitably qualified Tanzanian graduates to join its Volunteer Programme. The programme is designed to provide young volunteers with an opportunity to gain practical skills, professional exposure and valuable work experience in a professional insurance environment.

NIC has announced one volunteer position for Legal Officer II. The opportunity is suitable for qualified law graduates who meet the required academic and professional training conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.

• Must have attended and passed Internship or Law School of Tanzania.

  

General Conditions

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Must be a Tanzanian citizen.

• Must be aged between 18 and 35 years.

• Must never have been employed in any public institution since graduating from their studies.

• Must not have been convicted by a court of law for criminal offences or disciplinary misconduct.

• Must have good conduct and behaviour acceptable to the community.

• The volunteer period shall not exceed 12 months and may be renewed for a maximum of two additional periods.
