Responsibilities

Drive institute motor vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and regulations.

Inspect vehicles before and after every journey to identify maintenance or repair needs.

Ensure the vehicle and all essential equipment, including the jack, spanner, and spare tyre, are available and in good working condition.

Perform minor and routine vehicle maintenance.

Ensure vehicle doors and windows are securely locked and the vehicle remains safe at all times.

Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

Record and maintain accurate journey details in the vehicle logbook.

Assist in collecting and dispatching official mail and documents.

Report accidents immediately to the supervisor or Traffic Police.

Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications Required

Form IV or Form VI Certificate.

Valid Class C or Class E Driving License.

Basic Driving Course Certificate from VETA or another recognized institution.

Relevant training certificates for the respective driving rank.

At least one year of accident-free driving experience.

Trade Test Grade II/Level II in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or Mechanics is an added advantage.

Ability to perform minor and routine vehicle maintenance.

Good knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations.

Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and professionalism.
