Store Keeper (4 Positions)

AKO Group Limited is inviting applications for four Store Keeper Internship positions within its AKO Catering Facilities Management division in the Lake Zone. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals seeking practical experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain management while working with one of Tanzania’s leading facilities management companies.

The successful candidates will play an important role in ensuring efficient store operations by managing inventory, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the smooth flow of materials and supplies. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in stock control, inventory management systems, and warehouse best practices within a professional working environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.

  

• Issue materials and supplies against approved requisitions.

• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with stock records.

• Ensure proper storage, organization, and safety of goods within the store.

• Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or replenishment requirements.

Qualifications Required

• Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least one (1) year of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and stock management systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
