The Tanzania Teachers’ Union (CWT) has announced 27 Secretary vacancies for qualified Tanzanians who are ready to work in any region of Mainland Tanzania. CWT is a registered trade union established under the Employment and Labour Relations Act No. 6 of 2004 and is committed to improving services for its members across the country.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Tanzanian citizen

• Not more than 45 years of age

  

• Completed Form Four or higher

• NTA Level 4, 5, or 6 Certificate in Secretarial Studies recognized by NACTE

• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience

• Computer and internet proficiency

• Fluency in both Kiswahili and English

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Typing various Union documents

• Maintaining office records as directed by the supervisor

• Receiving visitors and directing them appropriately

• Receiving and forwarding office correspondence

• Keeping Union offices clean and organized

• Maintaining confidentiality of office information

• Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor
