Herocean Baizhou Technology Tanzania Limited is seeking a responsible, disciplined, and experienced Driver to support its daily operations in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting company staff, visitors, and goods safely and efficiently while ensuring that assigned vehicles remain clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.

This opportunity is suitable for a professional driver with a valid driving licence and at least two years of driving experience in a company or organisation. Candidates with knowledge of vehicle maintenance or defensive driving training will have an added advantage.

About the Role

The Driver will provide reliable transportation services according to company schedules and operational requirements. The role requires excellent time management, responsibility, discipline, and a strong commitment to road safety and company procedures.

In addition to driving duties, the successful candidate will conduct vehicle inspections, maintain records of fuel and mileage, report mechanical problems, and ensure that vehicle documentation remains valid.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Safely transporting company staff, visitors, and goods to assigned destinations.

  

• Ensuring timely transportation according to company schedules.

• Conducting daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.

  

• Checking the general condition of the assigned vehicle.

• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and proper working condition.

  

• Keeping accurate records of fuel consumption.

• Recording vehicle mileage and maintenance activities.

• Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules.

• Reporting mechanical problems immediately.

• Reporting accidents and other vehicle-related incidents promptly.

• Following all traffic laws and road safety regulations.

• Complying with company driving policies and procedures.

• Assisting with loading and unloading goods when required.

• Ensuring vehicle insurance remains valid.

• Ensuring driving licences and other required vehicle documents remain valid.

• Supporting other transportation-related duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A valid driving licence.

• At least 2 years of driving experience in a company or organisation.

• A university degree or college diploma is an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.

• A defensive driving training certificate is an added advantage.
