Job Description

National Insurance Corporation (NIC) is inviting applications from young, motivated and suitably qualified Tanzanians to join its Volunteer Programme. The programme is designed to provide volunteers with practical skills, professional exposure and valuable work experience.

NIC has announced four volunteer positions for Records Management Assistant II. The positions are allocated between the Head Office and Tabata, with two positions available at each location.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following academic requirement:

  • Diploma in Records Management.

  • Diploma in Archives.

  • Diploma in Archive and Documentation.

  • Diploma in Records and Information Management.

  • Equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

General Conditions

Applicants must meet the following general conditions:

  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen.

  • Must be aged between 18 and 35 years.

  • Must never have been employed in any public institution since graduating from their studies.

  • Must not have been convicted by a court of law for criminal offences or disciplinary misconduct.

  • Must have good conduct and behaviour acceptable to the community.

  • The volunteer period shall not exceed 12 months and may be renewed for a maximum of two additional periods.
