Key Responsibilities
The Medical Doctor will be responsible for:

Examining and treating patients in outpatient and inpatient departments.

Conducting scheduled clinics and patient screening.

Admitting patients to hospital wards and monitoring their progress.

Preparing operation lists and assisting with surgical planning.

Updating Senior Medical Doctors and specialists on patients’ conditions.

Supporting minor surgical procedures.

Assisting senior surgeons during major operations.

Participating in outreach activities where applicable.

Providing clinical support during patient management processes.

Working on rotational shifts, including on-call duties, night shifts, and weekends.

Maintaining professional standards and ensuring quality patient care.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Applicants should possess:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized institution.

Successful completion of a one-year internship.

Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7.

At least two (2) years of post-internship working experience with a reputable organization.

Registration with the Tanganyika Medical Council as a Medical Doctor.

Valid 2026 medical practitioner license.

Computer literacy skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
