Job Title: Treasury ALM / Dealer

Department: Treasury
Reports To: Head of Treasury

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing the bank’s Asset and Liability Management (ALM) activities, liquidity, and interest rate risk, while executing treasury dealing operations in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role ensures optimal balance sheet structure, profitability, and compliance with risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Asset & Liability Management (ALM):

  • Monitor and manage liquidity positions, interest rate risk, and funding requirements.
  • Prepare ALM reports and recommend strategies to optimize balance sheet structure.
  • Support stress testing and scenario analysis for liquidity and interest rate risk.

2. Treasury Dealing:

  • Execute money market, FX, and fixed-income transactions within approved limits.
  • Monitor market trends and provide pricing for internal and external clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk limits during trading activities.

3. Risk & Compliance:

  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines (Basel, IFRS, local regulations) and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure timely reporting.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections related to treasury operations.

4. Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, and financial institutions.
  • Provide market intelligence and updates to management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CFA, ACI Dealing Certificate) are an advantage.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Treasury, ALM, or financial markets dealing.
  • Strong knowledge of money markets, FX, fixed income instruments, and ALM principles.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in treasury systems and MS Excel.
